Apple Oats Crumble - Stepwise pics

It was a Sunday Evening and was raining outside. I was in the mood to try out some new dish. I just then remembered that I had got lots of nice juicy apples few days back and started thinking what to do with these. I had already tried out Apple Pie and wanted to do something new. I started googling as usual :) and finally decided that I would make the famous Apple Crumble! I referred lots of recipes and took a bit of all modified it a bit and came up with this!

Serves - 4 (Generously!)
Ingredients Required:
For the Filling:
Medium Sized Apple - 3 - 4
Sugar - 4 tblsp
Lemon Juice - 2 tsp

For the Crumble:
All Purpose Flour - 3/4 Cup
Oats - little more than 1/2 Cup
Cinnamon Powder - 2 tsp
Nutmeg Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - pinch
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
Butter - 2 tblsp
Milk - 2 tblsp

How to make?
Peel, core and chop the apples to 1 inch cubes and set aside.
Mix the apple pieces with the sugar and lemon juice.
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
In a glass baking pan, grease with butter or cooking spray.
Place the chopped apple pieces on the baking pan.

In a mixing bowl, add the flour, oats, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, and sugar and mix well.
Add the butter and start mixing with your fingertips so the mixture is crumbled.
Slowly sprinkle milk and mix with your fingertips to form crumbles. Do not knead into a dough.
Sprinkle this crumble on top of the apple, make sure that all the apple pieces are covered with this crumble.
Gently pat down the crumble.

Bake this for 30 - 35 minutes until the top becomes golden brown in color.
Cool for few minutes and enjoy with Vanilla ice cream.
This can also be refrigerated for a day or two, microwave for 20 seconds before serving!
