Ingredients Required:
Baby Corn - 10, boiled and chopped
Onion - 1/2, sliced
Tomato - 1, chopped
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Ginger Paste -1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cloves - 4
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Bay Leaves - 1
Salt to taste
Rice - 1 cup
Oil
Cilantro - few springs, chopped
How to make?
Pressure cook the rice with 2 cups of water and set aside.
In a pan, heat some oil, add the cumin seeds and let it splutter.
Add the cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, ginger paste and fry for few seconds.
Add the cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, ginger paste and fry for few seconds.
Add the sliced onion and fry till golden in color.
Add the chopped tomato and baby corn.
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
Cook for few minutes.
Add this to the rice and mix gently.
Garnish with chopped cilantro.
