Ingredients Required:
Rice - 1 Cup
Lemon Juice - 2 tblspn
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
For Seasoning:
Vendayam Podi/ Fenugreek Powder - pinch
Vendayam Podi/ Fenugreek Powder - pinch
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Urad Dhal - 1 tsp
Channa Dhal - 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilli - 3
Peanuts - 10
Oil
How to make?
Cook the rice with 1 1/4 cup water and set aside.
Heat oil, add mustard seeds and when it splutters add the rest of the ingredients under the seasoning section. At the end add the vendhayam podi.
Fry till golden brown in color and set aside.
Add turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice to the rice and fold the rice careful not to break the rice.
Add this seasoning, mix well and serve.
