Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp
Nutmeg Powder - 1 tsp

Mix all the dry ingredients together and sieve well.
Microwave the butter for 10 seconds and add the the flour.
Mix the butter with the other ingredients.
Sprinkle the milk slowly and keep kneading the batter, till it is of cookie batter consistency. (if there is milk remaining, it is ok. The batter should be thick and tough)
Refrigerate the batter for 1 hour. (This is optional)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a non-greased cookie tray, drop the batter by a rounded tablespoon and lightly press down with finger.
Leave 2 inch space between the cookies as they will expand on baking.
Bake for 10 - 12 minutes and remove from oven when they are light brown in color.
Cool for few minutes on the tray and then place the cookies on a wire rack and cool completely.
Store in air tight container.
Tip:
If you like soft chewy cookies, microwave for 10 seconds before eating.
