Pal Kova | 10 Minutes Microwave Method | Gluten Free

PalKova is such an yummy sweet and uses the minimal of ingredients - Milk and Sugar and the end result is just mouth watering and awesome. But the traditional method takes a LOT of time and requires continuous stirring of the milk for hours together.
I have always loved this sweet and many a times have had craving for it. But the thought of standing and stirring for hours together just made me to put of this recipe for a later day.
Then one day I came across this microwave method where the total time takes not more than 10 minutes. Is it not amazing? Such a delicious sweet ready to eat in 10 minutes! And it uses only one major ingredient - Condensed Milk. So just hit the store, pick up a can of sweetened condensed milk and we are almost done :)

Makes 1 cup
Ingredients Required:
Sweetened condensed milk - 1 small can
Yogurt - 1 tblsp
Ghee - 1 tblsp

How to make?
Take a big deep microwave bowl, as the milk tends to boil up on heating.
Grease the bowl with ghee and pour in the sweetened condensed milk.
Add the yogurt and mix well.
Add in the remaining ghee and mix well.
Place the bowl in the microwave and set the time for 10 minutes.
For the first 7 minutes, take the bowl out every 1 minute and stir.
For the remaining time, take the bowl out whenever the milk seems to overflow, which will happen likely between 20 - 30 seconds and reduce with time.
Towards the end a good thick thiratipal consistency would be got.
The time varies from microwave to microwave, mine got done in 11 minutes.
The thiratipaal would thicken a bit after cooling down.

Notes:
The sweetness was perfect.
After cooling down, the sweet would thicken, so reheat the sweet for 30 seconds before serving.
You can additional flavor like saffron, Elachi and nuts. But the traditional sweet does not have any additional flavor.
