We all love sundal, and I make sure that weekly once we try out different types of sundal. They are very very easy to make, delicious to eat and also a good source of protein for our body.
We like to eat them as it is or also love it as a side dish for rotis!
Serves 2
Ingredients Required:
White Peas - 1 Cup
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Red Chilli - 3
Salt to taste
Oil
How to make?
Soak the peas for 4 hours or overnight in water.
Pressure cook the peas in a cooker with salt for 3 whistles and set aside.
Heat little oil in a pan, and add mustard seeds, allow to splutter.
Add red chilli and fry for a minute.
Add the cooked peas, toss few times and serve!
Tip:
Sometimes I add, grated coconut just before turning off the heat. It gives a good flavor and taste.
