10 minutes Chocolate Fudge | Chocolate Burfi | Just 4 ingredients

This is one of the most simple dessert recipes which takes minimal time, 10 mins tops and minimal amount of ingredients. The ratio and the cooking time is key in this recipe. Though my son is not a huge fan of sweets, this is his all time favorite! I have made this for many potlucks and it is a sure hit with the kids.

 Ingredients Required:
Milk Powder - 2 cups (See notes)
Sugar - 1 and 1/4 cup
Water - 3/4 cup
Cocoa Powder - 5 tblsp
Butter - 1/4 cup  at room temperature

How to make?
Grease a pan with butter/ghee and set aside. This is where the cake would be poured.
In a mixing bowl, add the milk powder and the cocoa powder. Mix well without lumps. Set aside.
In a heavy bottom pan, add the water and sugar. Allow to boil till it reaches a single string consistency.
Add the butter and allow to melt.
Add the milk powder and cocoa mixture and stir well. Keep stirring for 2 minutes at medium heat.
After 2 minutes, pour evenly into the greased pan. Tap so the surface is flat.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes and then slice into desired shapes.

Notes:
The consistency would be fudgy. If you prefer harder, cook for couple of more mins.
One string consistency - touch the sugar syrup between your pointer and thumb finger. Slowly separate your fingers, if a single string is formed, then this is one string consistency.
I have also tried substituting Milk Powder with MTR Gulab Jamun Mix and it comes out perfect!
