Chilla is nothing but a dosa made with lenthils. This recipe is made with moong dhal and spices. This is a gluten and carb free dish and rich in protein. Makes a great meal if dieting.

Makes - 6-8
Ingredients Required:
Moong Dhal - 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Cilantro - 2 tblspn chopped
Green Chilli - 2
Ginger - 1 inch
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Oil to make
How to make?
Soak the moong dhal for a minimum of 4 hours.
Grind the dhal along with salt, green chilli and ginger to a thick paste. Add minimum water as possible.
Add the chopped cilantro, cumin powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
It should be of dosa batter consistency. Add water if required.
Heat a cast iron pan, and pour a ladle of batter and spread like a dosa.
Drizzle oil on the sides, after few minutes flip and allow to cook on the other side for a minute.
Serve with chutney of your choice. We had ours with mint chutney!
Notes:
You can add finely chopped onion or grated carrot to the batter.
