I have always loved tutti frutti as a kid and enjoyed cakes, bread and ice cream made from them. My favorite was the Britannia Fruit Bread and I still crave for them often but still have not tried making them at home. Will try that soon!
Guess what is coming next with these :)

Raw Papaya - 1

How to make:
- Peel the papaya and cut in half.
- Scoop out the seeds and score out the inner skin.
- Cut into small cubes.
- Boil 5 cups water and drop the papaya cubes in the boiling water.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes till the papaya cubes are semi transparent.
- Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, add sugar with 1.5 cups of water.
- Once the sugar dissolves, add the papaya cubes and cook for 15 minutes, till the sugar syrup thickens.
- Add in the vanilla essence and mix.
- Set 3 bowls (depending on how many color you need), and split the papaya evenly in the bowls.
- Add few drops of the food color and mix well.
- Set aside for 12 hours to dry.
- Drain them on a paper towel so it absorbs any extra moisture.
- Once dried store in air tight container.
Notes:
I used some beetroot boiled water for the red color.
This can be used in cakes, bread and ice creams!
