Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream - Eggless

Now that summer has started, ice cream it is every day to get over the heat! And can you guess what is better than ice cream? It is when you make it fresh at home!
This is a super easy recipe which takes around 15 minutes prep time and 8-10 hours setting time and you are ready with a bowl of ice cream to indulge in.
This is my first ice cream post and I know what I am in for this summer, plan to get creative and try out making different flavors at home.
The base recipe is same and you just add flavors of your choice. Now who still wants to run to the store and get ice cream?



Ingredients Required:
Whipping Cream - 2 cups, chilled
Condensed milk - 1 can (1.5 cups), chilled
Whole milk - 2 cups, chilled
Strawberry - 3 cups

How to make?
  1. Separate out 2 cups of strawberry and make a puree with a blender
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the whipping cream
  3. Beat with a hand blender for 4-5 minutes at high speed till you get stiff peaks.
  4. Add the condensed milk, milk, strawberry puree and mix for a minute
  5. Finely chop the remaining strawberries and gently fold them in to the mix
  6. Pour into a freezer friendly bowl and either close it with a lid or clingfling
  7. Freeze for 8-10 hours or overnight
  8. Scoop out the delicious ice cream and serve
