Chole | Channa Masala Powder

This is a perfect recipe to make your own masala for Chole or Channa masala gravy. This is super easy and quick to make and can be stored in an air tight container.




Ingredients Required:
Coriander Seeds - 4 tblsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tblsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli - 15
Cinnamon - 3 inch sticks
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Bay Leaves - 3
Cardamon - 5 pods
Cloves - 10
Anardhana (Dry Pomegranate Seeds) - 1 tblsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Mango Powder - 1 tsp

How to make:
  1. Heat a pan, and dry roast all the ingredients (except the turmeric and dry mango powder)
  2. Cool to room temperature and grind to a fine powder along with turmeric and dry mango powder
  3. Store in air tight container
