Simple Stir Fry Gobi - No Onion No Garlic



This is a simple recipe of Gobi that can be paired up with rice or any type of Indian Bread. This is a no onion - no garlic recipe.

Serves 4 
Ingredients Required:
Cauliflower - 1 head, chopped into florets
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1 tblsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Cilantro - finely chopped

How to make?
  • Boil 10 cups of water and 2 tbslp of salt in a large pot
  • When it comes to boil, add the florets. Boil for 5 minutes
  • Drain and set aside
  • In a pan, add the oil and when hot add the cumin seeds and the spice powders along with salt
  • Add in the boiled florets and saute so the spice mix coats the florets
  • Close the pan and cook for 5 minutes on medium - low heat
  • Server hot with rice or roti
