This is a versatile south indian spice Powder that can be used with any vegetable curry and enhances the flavor to the next level.
Ingredients Required:
Coriander Seeds - 1.5 cups
Channa dhal - 1 cup
Kashmiri red chilli - 10-12
Curry leaves - 1 handful
Dry coconut - 1/2 cup
Pepper - 1 tblsp
Salt as required
Hing - 1 tsp
How to make:
Dry roast each ingredient separately till you get a nice aroma. Let it cool for 30 minutes.
Grind together into a coarse powder.
Store in airtight container.
Notes:
Do not use fresh coconut, if you do not have dry coconut skip it and you can use fresh coconut while making the vegetable.
