Salted Jeera Butter Biscuits

I have been wanting to try the salted butter biscuits that we get in tea stalls, this is a very close replica of them. Dunk them in a cup of hot Chai and it is so delicious, melt in the mouth.
Makes 12
Ingredients Required:
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
Butter - 1/2 cup at room temperature

How to make:
Cream the butter and sugar till pale and creamy.
Add the other ingredients and bring the dough together.
Do not knead, just bring the dough together.
You can either roll it out into a thick disc and cut it out using cookie cutter.
I made 12 equal size balls, rolled and slightly flattened them.
Place them on a baking sheet lined with cookie sheet or silicon mat.
Bake at 350 for 12 minutes and remove them.
Allow to cook down and store in air right container.
