Banana Chocolate Ice Cream - Vegan, Sugar Free and Guilt Free!

How would you feel if you can eat ice cream every day and not worry about your waist line? Yaay! I can hear you jumping in joy. Well this is one such recipe, where there is no milk or cream, no added sugar and is a guilt free vegan ice cream that you can enjoy everyday to beat the heat.
When my son enjoys his regular Chocolate Ice Cream, I am more than satisfied with this one! My husband is not an ice cream fan.

Ingredients Required:
Banana - 4, sliced and frozen
Cocoa Powder - 1/4 cup
Peanut Butter - 2 tblsp
Almond Milk - 2 tblsp (optional)

How to make?
  • Add all the ingredients except the almond milk in a blender and churn till smooth.
  • If the mixture is too tight, add in the almond milk to make it churn with ease
  • This can be served right out of the blender as a soft serve ice cream
  • Or you can pour it into a freezer friendly container and freeze for 6 hours
  • Serve on a cone or in a cup and enjoy

Notes:
  • I used a nutribullet to blend the ingredients
  • Using Frozen banana slices adds to the texture, but you can use room temp banana and then freeze the mixture. If using room temp banana you will not get the soft serve consistency but can still enjoy the ice cream after freezing
  • Add in chocolate chips or nuts to add a little crunch
