Dahi Sev Puri Chaat

This is a simple chaat that can be pulled together at home in a jiffy.. if you had all the right ingredients on hand.
My son used to order this on a regular basis whenever we used to to go to the local chaat shop. On knowing that he loves it so much, tried this at home and he gave a thumbs up. This is the best compliment a mom can get, is it not?
And to add, my son calls them Mouth Bursters, as he says all the flavors bursts in the mouth :)




Ingredients Required:
Small Puri - 1 box
Onion - 1 cup (finely chopped)
Tomato - 1 cup (finely chopped)
Potato - 2
Chaat Masala
Salt - to taste
Sweet Tamarind Chutney
Green Chutney
Sev - 1 cup
Cilantro - 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Thick yogurt - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 tsp

How to make?
Boil and mash the potato. Season with salt and set aside.
In a bowl, take the yogurt, season with salt, sugar, and pinch of chaat masala.
Whisk well so it can be scooped into the puri's.
Take a small plate and place 6 puri's. Punch small holes with your thumb on the top to fill the fillings.
In each of the puri's, place the below in the order mentioned:
1 tsp potato
Few Onions and Tomato pieces
1 tsp sweet tamarind chutney
1 tsp green chutney
2 tsp yogurt
Sprinkle some chaat masala
Sprinkle sev and garnish with cilantro.
Serve immediately.

Notes:
You can replace potato with boiled channa or moong dhal.
